On February 10, the Tajik State Institute of Languages named after Sotim Ulugzoda held a press conference on the results of 2020 with the participation of a wide range of staff and representatives of the media, which was attended by 19 journalists from the media.
At the meeting, Rector Zhilo Gulnazarzoda reported on the activities of the Institute in 2020 and provided detailed information on scientific, educational, educational and cultural achievements.
During the reporting period, the institute held 12 scientific-theoretical and scientific-practical conferences, including 1 international conference, 1 national conference, 10 university conferences, 23 scientific and methodological seminars, 16 round tables, - said the rector of the institution.
It was also noted that during the reporting period, 8 people defended their dissertations and 1 person defended their doctoral dissertations, as well as 18 teachers successfully passed advanced training courses at home and abroad.
Afterwards, the journalists received satisfactory answers to their questions about the training of professional translators, international cooperation, as well as other scientific, educational and pedagogical issues.
